Rules
1 How It Works
Rematch Asia runs daily solo tournaments where 10 or more players are matched into balanced 5v5 teams. Sign up, get drafted onto a team, play your match, and report the score. Your results affect your Elo rating and player card stats.
2 Tournament Format
Format — Swiss — you play multiple rounds against players with similar records.
Rounds — 5 rounds per tournament.
Round time limit — 20 minutes to complete your match and report the score.
Duration — The next round starts as soon as all matches are reported, so tournaments can finish well under the maximum of 1 hour 40 minutes. Fast reporting = faster tournament.
Positions — Assigned based on your card stats and preferred position. These are suggestions — rotate freely during the match.
Sitting out — If player numbers don't divide evenly, some players sit out a round (usually no more than once). They receive 3 points for the round.
3 Match Flow
Lobby — The home team captain creates a custom match in Rematch and enters the lobby code on the match page.
Ready up — Optional. Both sides can confirm readiness, but there is no requirement to wait — especially when time is running out.
Report — After the match, both sides enter the final score. If scores agree, the result is accepted instantly.
Round deadline — If the round timer runs out before both sides report, the match won't count for tournament standings. However, players can still finish and report — admins can mark it as rating-eligible after review. Don't start a new match when the timer is red (under 8 minutes). Report as "not played" and wait for the next round instead.
No overtime. Match duration is 6 minutes with overtime off. Last attack should still be played out. If overtime was accidentally left on, the game ends when overtime starts — just leave and report the score.

5 Scoring & Results
Win — 3 points.
Draw — 1 point each.
Loss — 0 points.
Not played — Both sides report "not played": 0-0 draw (1 point each), no rating impact.
Disputed — Scores disagree: recorded as 0-0 draw (1 point each) for the tournament. Admins review after the tournament — the tournament score will not change, but the match may still count for ratings after review.
Flag for review — After a match completes, either side can flag it for admin review. Post evidence (screenshots) in the match chat or share in the Discord server.
6 Disconnects & No-Shows
No-show / can't connect — If you've tried remaking the lobby and a player still can't join, abort the match. Both sides report "not played".
Disconnect at even score — Leave the lobby and try again with a new lobby if time allows. If there isn't enough time, both sides report "not played".
Disconnect on the losing side — The losing team can choose to either play on, or abort and report the current score as the final result (counts for ratings).
Disconnect on the winning side — Play the match out normally. If the losing side equalizes and the player hasn't returned, abort and report as a draw (flag so it won't count for ratings).
7 Fair Play
Report scores honestly — the system is trust-based for fast progression.
Don't intentionally disconnect or waste time.
